Yes indeed, beach pavilion Zoomers belongs to the same owners, which is why we call it our ‘sister’. There is close cooperation with arrangements etc.
The hotel is located on the coast in Castricum, on top of the dune overlooking the North Sea. The address is: Zeeweg 10, 1901 NZ Castricum. Plan your route to the hotel here.

It is not possible to get out directly in front of the hotel, but there is a ‘kiss and ride’ lane at the roundabout at the end of the Zeeweg. Get out here and let the strongest carry your bags!
After this, you can choose where to park your car: you can park for free at the beginning of the dunes in the car parks on Zeeweg (10-15 mins walk back) or paid when you drive into the car park. The rate depends on the date and time of entry.
By arrangement, you can store your luggage with us.

Yes, our beach hotel is open all year round. Are you coming to stay?
No, there is no reception in our beach hotel. Hotel guests book and pay online in advance and receive a personal room access code by e-mail. During the day until 6pm, there is always someone there to speak to you (by phone). You will receive tailor-made advice and tips on the area if required.
No, in our terms and conditions, on the homepage and in the confirmation email sent, it states that our reservations are non-refundable. Which means no refund is possible. Once the booking is made you agree to a final payment.

Yes, an extra cot can be placed for €25 per night.

Yes and no. There are some dune rooms with air conditioning and the other rooms have no air conditioning. However, fans are available. In fact, fans are a lot more durable than air conditioners as they use much less power.

Breakfast and dinner are served in our ‘sister’ beach pavilion Zoomers. In addition, each room has its own designer kitchenette with fridge.
Just remember to book before 15:00 if you want to be assured of a table!
Since you have your own access code, you can enter and leave the hotel whenever you want. You don’t have to check in with us. However, when your stay is over you need to leave the room before 11am that day.

It’s in our DNA. Carina grew up in this area and we want to take good care of our environment so that we can pass it on even more beautifully. Our hotel was therefore built to be energy neutral. We have chosen sustainable alternatives in the design and furnishing.
We have sustainable timber construction, solar-powered outdoor lighting and marmoleum with cocoa shells. The cocoa shells are made from a residual product from the cocoa factory in the Zaan region. Sustainable and local! We also like to make our community aware of our sustainable choices and hope to inspire them by doing so.

Beach hotel
Yes. During the summer holidays (this year from 16 July to 28 August), a free shuttle bus runs between Castricum NS railway station and Castricum aan Zee.
There is an intermediate stop at Bakkum campsite, so campsite guests can hop on and off.
There are no set times, but the bus runs twice an hour. The first bus leaves at 11am from the NS railway station and the last leaves at 7pm from Castricum aan Zee.

So nice to take your dog to the beach! To this end, Castricum municipality has set a number of spotb that dogs are allowed on the beach at Castricum aan Zee:
Dogs are allowed on a leash within the entire beach area. If you want to let your dog run loose on the beach, you can do so outside the buildings. 500 metres left and right of the main beach exit.
